PURPOSE: The ResusOne Human and System Peformance Quality Improvement Program aims to develop and disperse process improvements in order to optimize the resuscitation of neonates.
ResusOne team members conduct monthly debriefings of recorded delivery room resuscitations, addressing weaknesses and reinforcing strengths in human and system performance. These debriefings are protected from discovery under California Code of Evidence 1157 and all discussion is to be treated as confidential. All clinical staff who work in the LPCH NICU are invited to attend.
OUR LOGO: The overall branding is intended to elicit the dynamism of team performance while the italicized typeface and arrow represents action and running towards a patient in need.
SUPPORT: This quality improvement project is supported by the Department of Risk Management at Stanford Children's Health and the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine at Stanford's School of Medicine. Ongoing logistical support is adminstered by The Center for Advanced Pediatric & Perinatal Education (CAPE).
